Gustav and Sanet’s little girl, Milea, turned one on 9 May. We went to her birthday party and also had a proper South African braai – yum yum!
Milea is just so adorable, with her own ways and gestures – calling the birds (and people) with her hand and making that cute little sound. She is very clever and alert.
The theme for the party was “Upsy Daisy” from In the Night Garden – well done with the cake Sanet (and Ouma).
On Sat, 14th we went to Bjorn’s 1st bday party. It was held in the Harlow Baptist church hall (same place we had kids messy play party in).
The theme was jungle. They decorated the hall so nicely. Everything was jungle/animals, from the balloons to colouring in books to the party packs (complete with a little monkey cup to take home).
There was a small bouncy castle with ball pit and they hired soft play equipment for the little ones to play about. MJ Soft play were the suppliers. Contact Peter (peter.lavender@tiscali.co.uk) if you are thinking about hiring soft play equipment.
We played games and had a good time together. Subway subs are always a winner and of course milktart!
